Turn On The Knicks:
New York Knicks
Since our last edition of the New York Knicks Player Power Rankings, the ‘Bockers have played three games, where Carmelo Anthony returned to the lineup and has scored a whole bunch of points, leading the Knicks to three wins. That makes the overall winning streak at four, which is a brilliant response to the Western swing where the severely undermanned Knicks lost the first four of five games. It doesn’t really matter that the wins were over losing teams; the Knicks have taken care of business recently. The Knicks have officially clinched a playoff spot and a third winning season in a row. These are things that, not too long ago, were pipe dreams.
With 14 games remaining and Anthony back and seemingly firing on all cylinders, the Knicks are in position to win their division and clinch home court in the first round of the playoffs. It certainly won’t be easy since the Knicks have some tough games on the docket (beginning tonight with a trip to Boston, despite the Celtics b...

According to a tweet from Ian Begley of ESPN New York, new Knick Kenyon Martin desires to continue his career beyond this season and “would love” to re-sign with the Knicks this offseason. This comes as great news to the Knicks who had worked so hard to sign Martin since the summer of 2012 where they attempted to acquire him in a 3...
The New York Knicks are currently riding a five-game winning streak, revamping confidence in the team once again this season. It’s been an up and down roller-coaster for these Knicks, and just over a week ago they seemed to be hitting rock bottom with a four-game losing streak. Questions of how Carmelo Anthony would perform after getting his knee drained mixed with the fact Tyson...
Kenyon Martin may of had to wait longer than he wanted to sign with an NBA team this season, but the 12-year-veteran is proving he can still make an impact. In six games without Tyson Chandler (neck injury), Martin has averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds as a starter. And while he’s “focused on the present”, the former No. 1 pick says he would love to return with the Knicks next...
Setting quite the commanding tone, the Knicks overpowered the Celtics for the secibs time this season in Boston, coming out victorious by a score of 100-85 on Tuesday night. With so many things going their way at TD Garden, it was difficult to be disappointed with the way the Knicks (short-handed without Tyson Chandler, among others) kept up their level of intensity and gritty effort...
Kenyon Martin has proved to be a valuable pickup for the Knicks, averaging 11.7 points and 6.8 rebounds in seven games as a starter since Tyson Chandler went down with a neck injury, so how does he feel about the Celtics passing on him earlier this season? “It’s their fault.”
According to Marc Berman, New York Post:
Celtics coach Doc Rivers admitted the team inquired when Martin...
There are just a couple of weeks left in the NBA's regular season. As Knicks fans know, there's nothing like taking in a game and rooting for the Big Apple's home team. Speaking from experience, it's also a lot of fun to hit the road and support the Knicks away from home as well, as the passion of their fans can be heavily felt in just about any arena nationwide.If...
Kenyon Martin has been a key addition to the Knicks roster.
Mount Carmel (Ill.) defensive lineman Enoch Smith Jr., made the trip to North Carolina over the weekend to check out several schools.
The Heat have a couple of games before they get to the Knicks, but I think Mike Woodson is trying to motivate his guys.
The Knicks, normally play the Heat tough in the regular season at least, so it isn’t a super far stretch to say they could end the streak. If that happens Spike Lee will be talking for days. Here is what Mike Woodson had to say via NY Sports Kings.

Tonight, the Knicks are in Beantown facing a Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo-less Celtics team. Meanwhile, the Knicks still have their own injury woes to contend with. Word is, Tyson Chandler will likely miss tonight’s game despite participating in the team’s shootaround this morning. Yet, regardless...
We often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics. Here’s a look at some enemy chatter from New York.
There are Knicks fans by the thousands, maybe by the millions, who looked at the standings yesterday morning and saw the following facts: the Knicks resting in second place by percentage points in the Eastern Conference; the Celtics...
7:46: The Celtics and Knicks played a very competitive first quarter. The Knicks now lead, 28-24. For most of the quarter, they just traded baskets. But the Knicks went on a mini-run near the end to put them where they are. Keep watching.
After falling short to the New York Knicks at home on Friday night in a 99-94 loss, featuring the shootout between Carmelo Anthony & Alan Anderson, the Raptors followed up the next night with a disappointing effort. Travelling to Madison Square Garden for the 2nd game of the back-to-back home & away series, the Raptors did not show the same level of effort. The result? Getting...
