CJ Sports NASCAR Talk:
Fat, chubby, “Felton fry;” the nicknames were everywhere Raymond Felton looked. No matter how hurtful the names were, they were justifiable, and Felton will be the first to admit it, as he averaged career lows in points per game (11.4) and rebounds per game (2.5). Knicks fans were understandably hesitant when James Dolan traded for and signed Felton to a three year, $25 million deal after what some considered his worst pro season. However, Felton used the insults and low expectations as motivation rather than succumb to the public opinion of him.
“Listening to all those people talking about what happened in Portland last year, I’m just ready to shut up a lot of people’s mouths,” said Felton when at the Las Vegas Summer League with fellow teammate Amar’e Stoudemire.

Though Knicks fans haven't gotten an opportunity to watch Ronnie Brewer hit the hardwood just yet, perhaps the time is coming. While Brewer has yet to start scrimmaging with the team, he will still in fact make the Knicks' upcoming three-game preseason road trip, which begins against the Raptors on Friday. However, not traveling with the team (according to Newsday) are Marcus...
This is a new ad for some product called Isotonix® Champion Blend Plus which is a chocolate milk-flavored drink. It’s apparently loaded with vitamins, hence the tagline, “Change the Way You Take Vitamins.” But New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony doesn’t need to sit through some boring lecture about the product. Instead, he amuses himself [...]
Once again, Knicks camp is up and running an we have some video updates for you. Shump discusses a few things, along with Novak and Mike Woodson. The real questions I have are for this weekends games. Will Amare be ready to fit in with this team as the 2nd option? And Is Marcus in the mix for the next 2 games? Rushing players back from injury is never a good idea, however this team...
Watch Out For The Knicks Offense
When people talk about the 12/13 New York Knicks, you think defense. The Knicks have a “so called” defensive minded coach and the perception around the league is the players that have been brought in are all defensive minded guys.
Woodson is completely underrated as an offensive coach and has the stigma of just an ISO style coach.
Mike has brought that old school vibe back to NY. Will he come through or is he all talk – no results? It is clear Mike wanted a veteran heavy team. I am excited with the back to the basket mentality and believe it will open up the passing lanes and force double teams to leave the perimeter players wide for the open shot. From day 1, Mike has held everyone accountable with their...
We can all agree that this is the year the Knicks can no longer make any excuses. In the words of JR SMITH “its championship or bust”. In order to do this, these players must play their role on both sides of the court. The Knicks have never had a problem with high scoring games, but had trouble maintaining that lead from other teams. We have great scorers like Carmelo Anthony...
The Knicks have exercised its third-year option on guard Iman Shumpert.
At some point, this Carmelo Anthony thing has to become more than a fashion statement.
Thats what facing the New York Knicks, as they wait to take all that frontcourt talent -- Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler -- and turn themselves into a real-life contender.
Instead, the Knicks seem to be stuck in the muck, spinning their wheels, trying to find the right combinations...
If you happen to pick up this month's issue of GQ magazine, you will see the smiling face of Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin starring back you.In the GQ interview, most of Lin's answers are pretty pedestrian but he does provide some interesting comments about wanting to stay with his last team, the New York Knicks:"You can't ask for a city or a fan base to...
Carmelo Anthony had concerns that Mike D'Antoni would favor Jeremy Lin in how the Knicks' offense was run.
