Monday night was a great night for the Oklahoma City Thunder organization. They took another step in the right direction, beating the Los Angeles Lakers 4-1 in the Western Conference Semifinals to advance to the WCF. But I am not writing about Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook or how well the Thunder played against the Lakers. I am writing about the aftermath of the Thunder’s win on Monday night. The Thunder has one of the coolest things outside of their arena that takes place in “Thunder Alley”. Thunder Alley is a pre-gaming area for people to buy food, drinks, and jerseys, or play games. However, for the playoffs, they take things up a notch. People, who don’t have a ticket, can sit outside the arena and watch the game (going on inside) on a big screen (the picture at the top shows what Thunder Alley looks like for the playoffs). It was a cool way for fans to mingle, eat, and watch the game (I don’t know how Thunder Alley is set-up and whether they charge a cover fee to watch gam...

Westbrook hits impossible circus shot

The Oklahoma City Thunder are going back to the Western Conference Finals after beating the Los Angeles Lakers in game five of their playoff series, 106-90.One of the more spectacular plays was this steal and flip shot by Russell Westbrook in the third quarter:

Previewing the conference finals: What to do about Durant?

The San Antonio Spurs know they’re going to have their hands full in their series with the Oklahoma City Thunder. They’d be stupid to underestimate the offensive firepower that the Thunder are capable of producing. The biggest threat is, of course, three-time NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant. Durant’s long frame combined with his shooting and athletic ability makes him...

Russell Westbrook’s Crazy Steal Shot and One..

This kid is so good I hardly can even stand it.  I am saying it now Thunder vs Celtics in the Finals… Yes thats right the Thunder will beat the Spurs.. And the Celtics will beat the Heat/Pacers.. BEAST MODE!

Russell Westbrook Had The Play of The Night During Series Clincher

Russell Westbrook can switch gears in a matter of seconds and when it mattered most for the Oklahoma City Thunder, he did it again during the Thunder’s knockout win against the Lo Angeles Lakers. Check out the circus shot that Russ made while getting fouled. Pretty incredible. via Quickish Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

VIDEO: Russell Westbrook Makes Unbelievable And 1 as Thunder Knock Out Lakers

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Russell Westbrook scored 28 points, Kevin Durant added 25 points and 10 rebounds, and the Oklahoma City Thunder surged ahead in the second half to beat Los Angeles 106-90 in Game 5 on Monday night and eliminate the Lakers from the playoffs. Thunder Alley forced to change after shooting on Monday

Chesapeake Energy Arena in downtown Oklahoma City has been living up to that Energy portion of its name all year long. Thunder fans have that place rocking through television screens all over the country, and have done so ever since OKC first entered the playoffs a couple years ago. With Kevin Durant's first trip to the Western Conference Finals set to commence, it's only...

Watching Durant And The Thunder Is Exciting, But Painful For Fans In Rip City

The Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder will forever be linked because of the 2007 NBA draft and the former I-5 Rivalry. The problem is, OKC fans probably don’t even realize it. The Thunder have advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the second straight season, and while their fans are hoping for their first appearance in the NBA Finals, they likely don...
