On Wendesday, the San Antonio Spurs announced forward Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard would be out against the visiting New Orleans Hornets with two knee injuries. Then came news that Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich also wouldn't be on the sideline as he's out with an illness. Coach Mike Budenholzer will be coaching the Spurs in place of Popovich. After Coach Budenholzer's interview, there was a press interview with the newest Aussie big man Aron Baynes.  Here's some of the pre-game tweets from the AT&T Center. Per Coach Williams, Anthony Davis will play vs. the #Spurs. #Hornets. — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Coach Williams on Manu/Duncan-less Spurs: “It doesn’t matter who it is in that jersey, they have Tony Parker. He’s a one man wrecking crew.” — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Coach Budenholzer on what Pop told him about coaching tonight. "Have fun. You'll either win or lose." #Spurs #Hornets — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Per Coach Bud, Parker, Green, Jack, Boris, and Tiago will start tonight. #Spurs — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Coach Bud on Aron Baynes: "We brought in another international player. We're a good landing spot for those guys." — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Coach Bud on why #Spurs wanted Baynes: "(He'll) help or improve our pick-and-roll defense." — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Coach Bud said Manu Ginobili will be put on a limited minutes plan of anywhere between 12-15 minutes. — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Baynes said he's waiting on his visa clearance before he can begin practicing with the team and playing in games. #Spurs — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Aron Baynes: "It was an easy decision for me (joining the #Spurs)." — Paul Garcia PS (@24writer) January 24, 2013 Baynes says he wants to bring toughness in the paint on offense and defense like Reggie Evans.
