After having followed many of the other former North Carolina basketball players it’s time to look at yet another, seven foot center Brendan Haywood, who first was waived by the Dallas Mavericks courtesy of the amnesty clause and then got picked up by the Charlotte Bobcats. The eleven year veteran’s $8.3 million salary this season and $27.2 million altogether will be wiped off the Mavs’ books cap wise, however he will still be owed the full amount left on the next three years of his contract.
