DALLAS (AP) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter as the Dallas Mavericks rallied Wednesday night for 117-110 victory over the Houston Rockets, whose playoff hopes took another blow.
Jason Terry put the Mavericks ahead to stay with a 3-pointer that made it 93-92 with 7:37 left.
By the time Nowitzki completed a three-point play 3 12 minutes later, the Mavericks led 102-94. That wrapped up a 20-6 run their 11-time All-Star forward started with consecutive 3-pointers.

Honestly I don’t know what to make of this thing. Most of you have probably heard by now that Delonte West fouled Gordon Heyward the other day during the Mavs/Jazz game. West seemed pretty flustered by it so he decided to give Heyward and old school Wet Willy. Yes, he actually put his finger in his mouth and then put it in Heyward’s ear.
My favorite quote about this...
Mavericks guard Delonte West has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for jabbing his finger into the ear of Jazz swingman Gordon Hayward during the second quarter of Utah's 123-121 triple-overtime win over Dallas on Monday.
The NBA issued the fine Wednesday, calling it a ''physical taunt.''
West had been called for fouling Hayward away from the ball then walked after...
Dallas Mavericks guard Delonte West was fined $25,000 by the NBA for a physical taunt against Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward.
West was punished for his actions during Monday's game, when he stuck in finger in the ear of Hayward.
A technical foul was assessed against West, but he was not ejected from the contest.
There isn’t much time for the Dallas Mavericks to get on track this regular season. The goal is obviously to find some momentum and consistency before the playoffs hit, but this season is different in Dallas as the postseason isn’t yet assured with just a few games remaining.
Can I officially state that I hate overtime games for the Dallas Mavericks? It doesn’t bode well for them and now they have two overtime games back to back and this one was a triple overtime and still didn’t get the win.
Dallas came into tonight’s game in the #6 spot while Utah was hanging by a thread and hoping for some help in a win against Dallas and losses against teams...

West will not be suspended and will play tonight against the visiting Houston Rockets.

During last night's Dallas Mavericks/Utah Jazz affair, Mavericks guard Delonte West got into an altercation with Utah forward Gordon Heyward.During that said altercation, West decided to pull out the old schoolyard trip of giving Heyward, "A Wet Willie" which Gordon wasn't exactly appreciative of.The referees didn't like it either and West got a technical foul:

Is Carmelo Anthony cut from the same cloth as Dirk Nowitzki? Knicks center, Tyson Chandler sees the similarities. Chandler was heading out of the locker room on Tuesday night after the Knicks 118-110 win over the Celtics, when asked if Anthony could do for the Knicks what Dirk did for the Mavericks just one season ago.
“For sure, for sure,” the center said. “They’re two different...
