Denver Nuggets draft pick Erick Green – the 46th overall choice in June's NBA draft and the Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year from Virginia Tech – has agreed to a one-year contract with Euroleague power Siena of Italy sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The Denver Nuggets traded for Green's rights on draft night and plan to stay connected with Siena coach Marco Crespi regarding the guard's development next season. Denver has a full roster of contracts and had been limited on flexibility to sign Green for the 2013-14 season.
Siena has a strong recent history of success with guards including Bobby Brown and Bo McCalebb. Siena has won seven consecutive Italian League championships.

A few days ago we reported that Denver Nuggets point guard Nate Robinson, was switching his jersey number to 10, in honor of the best soccer player in the world Lionel Messi.
Well somehow, the Argentinian heard of Robinson’s tribute, and posted a message of support on his Facebook account to Lil Nate, according to the guys at The Basketball...

Nate Robinson recently said he’d be wearing No. 10 this season with the Nuggets to honor Lionel Messi, and it turns out the Argentine soccer star approves, posting a message on his Facebook page to wish Nate luck this season, adding “Welcome to the #10Team.”
