Denver Nuggets: Where Has Ty Lawson Gone?

Ty Lawson is synonymous with speed, efficiency, and effectiveness. He is one of the main reasons Denver did so well post-Melo, and a key ingredient in the success the Nuggets cooked up last season despite multiple injuries and took a talented Lakers squad to seven games. That Lawson, that had people excited to see the [...]The post Denver Nuggets: Where Has Ty Lawson Gone? appeared...

Tony Allen Pulls Kenneth Faried’s Hair

Everyone knows that Tony Allen is one of the toughest guys around the league. O.J. Mayo could tell you that after their fight when they were teammates. Allen is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, making him someone who offensive players don’t want to play against. So why did Tony Allen take a cheap shot on Kenneth Faried by pulling his hair? This was in the heat...

Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen pulled Denver Nugget Kenneth Faried's dreadlocks

It looks like Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen pulled Denver Nugget Kenneth Faried's hair. Maybe he simply ran his hand through the dreads and it looked like he pulled. Either way, we couldn't care... Full story at Bob's Blitz ~ http://www.bobsblitz.com

Zach Randolph is the “garbage man” for the Memphis Grizzlies

In an article by the Commercial Appeal, Zach Randolph does not mind cleaning up after the mess left behind by his teammates.  Z-Bo is not known for the greatest athletic ability, but with his size, he can outpower you in the paint.  With a talented offensive cast around him, he does not necessarily have to shoot all the time.  He can just look for any missed shots by his teammates...

POTD 11/17/12: Rudy Gay on MKG

What you’re about to see is a pretty strong right-handed dunk from Rudy Gay, but you basically knew that already.  So, I’d like to bring some attention to the remarkable play that made this whole sequence possible.  It’s actually kind of subtle, and I didn’t notice it the first time I watched the video, but once I did see it I nearly stood up from my chair and started clapping...

Denver Nuggets Cook Some Memphis BBQ

Going into this game, I had one expectation and that was a loss. Point blank. So, yes, I am pleased with a win over the Memphis Grizzlies — 97-92 –, which Denver snapped their 8-game winning streak, but Denver is far from a ‘gelled’ team. With that being said, this was a game where one [...]The post Denver Nuggets Cook Some Memphis BBQ appeared first on The NBA Mistress.

Nuggets-Grizzlies Preview

With eight straight wins, the Memphis Grizzlies are in uncharted territory. Memphis (8-1) owns the best record in the NBA for the first time in the franchise's 17-year history, and it will look to keep rolling during a five-game homestand against struggling teams that starts with the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. The Grizzlies picked up double-digit victories over Miami,...

The hottest (and best) basketball team in Tennessee doesn’t sport bright orange jerseys. The Memphis Grizzlies clawed their way to eight straight wins and handed last week’s #1 team, their first loss of the season.
