Jocks and Stiletto Jill:
Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson and his girlfriend, reality TV alum, Ashley Nicole Pettiford were arrested in Denver Saturday night related to a domestic violence incident. Lawson was charged with physical harassment and criminal mischief, while Pettiford was arrested on investigation of domestic violence-related property damage.
Because of the nature of the charges, both were required to stay in jail until Monday morning until they could see a judge.
“They were yelling at each other and broke each other’s phones,” Sheriff Grayson Robinson said. “I don’t believe it was physical otherwise.”
Both parties were charged in the incident, Robinson said.
The fight took place in Lawson’s home, Robinson said.
It is unclear who called authorities.
Both were released on $1000 bail with Lawson receiving a restraining order forbidding him from contacting Pettiford.
Pettiford was featured on season 6 of “Bad Girls Club” and has also gone by Ashley Nicole King.
