DALLAS (AP) -- Mark Cuban says Lamar Odom wasn't committed to the Dallas Mavericks.
In his first public comments since Odom and the team parted ways, the Mavericks owner said Tuesday night that it was time to move on.
Cuban acknowledged the end came after Odom's four uninspired minutes Saturday night at Memphis. At halftime, Cuban asked Odom like he had several times previously if the player was "in or out" with the Mavs.
In what became an angry exchange, Cuban said Odom told him to quit playing games. That response gave the owner his answer.
Asked if that was the first time he noticed Odom not being focused to play, Cuban responded it wasn't, but said "the first 17 times" he tried to help him and turn it into a positive.
BEST OF MAXIM
Now that Lamar Odom has finally cut ties with the Mavericks but will still be paid for the remainder of the season, he’s pretty much free to do whatever he wants. What would you do for the next few months if your boss paid you to stay away? Would you go on a long vacation? Sit around and do nothing? Get another job and double up on the money? Metta World Peace has an idea for Odom...
As time goes on, so does the comments about Lamar Odom, Mark Cuban spoke prior to the Dallas Mavericks – Sacramento Kings game Tuesday night: “I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not? Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just [...]

Lamar Odom's time in Dallas appears to be over. If the Mavericks decide to waive the NBA's reigning Sixth Man of the Year, a former Lakers teammate is open to his return. As a ball boy. New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban are living out their own WWE storyline.
For those of you who don’t follow professional wrestling, here’s how a modern WWE storyline works. Remember when the guys you watched as a kid would punch each other and lay snakes on each other and rip off one another’s crucifixes? Now they just talk. They...

Lamar Odom and the Dallas Mavericks have decided to part ways.

The Mavericks will list Lamar Odom as inactive for the remainder...
The player formerly known as Ron Artest never disappoints when a camera or tape recorder is near. Metta World Peace’s former Lakers teammate Lamar Odom was deactivated by the Mavericks Monday. When asked about the situation by Dave McMenamin of ESPN LA, MWP offered this activity as an option for Lamar to return to LA: “Maybe he [...]
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban isn't scared off by New Jersey Nets head man Mikhail Prokhorov.
After the 6-foot-9 Russian billionaire jokingly threatened to inflict pain on Cuban if the Mavericks make a play for soon-to-be free agent guard Deron Williams, Cuban fired back - well, sort of.
"He obviously didn't see me be the first in WWE history to put Sheamus on...
Charles Barkley says Lamar Odom had a difficult time adjusting to life in Dallas because he was suffering from a divorce.
Not a divorce from his reality TV star wife Khloe Kardashian but a divorce from his former NBA team.

Good morning, Dribblers. It's been awhile and I'm sorry. It's time to get back to form and get some news to you on a daily basis. Hence the name Daily Dribbles. Not Monthly Dribbles or Quarterly Dribbles. Nope, we are talking daily.
