Stemming from a report by NewsOK from Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to reveal their new alternate uniforms. They will be wearing the jerseys on Friday night when they play the Detroit Pistons. They will also don these hideous jerseys during their game against the Phoenix Suns on New Year’s Eve. According the report, NBA teams can only wear alternate uniforms twice during the regular season while playing at home and ten times when playing road games. So all in all, they can only wear such alternate jerseys 12 out of the 82 games of the year. Personally, these new alternate jerseys that will be worn by the Oklahoma City Thunder are straight up boring. What is up with teams wanting to be like the Brooklyn Nets with a regular font and minimal to no design at all. The pictures below actually reminds me of a Dallas Mavericks jersey. A team making million dollars of revenue could have at least contracted a decent designer. Then again, the regular home and away jerseys for the Thunder are very plain and lame as well. Whatever works for them is fine since they will be gaining money from the people that buy these alternate uniforms.
