The Last Angry Fan:
“Harden-mania” is running wild in Oklahoma City.
In the business world you have to go above and beyond to set your company apart from the rest, and what better way to separate yourself from the competition than by adorning the building where your business is located with a ginormous beard and mohawk to honor James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard, 2011-12 Kia NBA Sixth Man Award winner, and owner of some of the finest facial follicles in all of sports.
Ketch Design Center on N. Western Avenue decided to spruce up the exterior of their store by adding Harden’s signature beard and haircut, and as crazy as this may sound, it actually gives the place a magnificent, almost regal look. Definitely fitting for the Thunder’s bearded wonder now that his team has made it to their first NBA finals after downing the Spurs 107-99 on Wednesday night.
What’s next, Oklahoma City business owners honoring high-flying Russell Westbrook? That’s just what the city needs—store fronts decora...

FEAR THE BEARD
James Harden has become known for his beard as much as his game, and Oklahoma City has taken to his facial hair, even putting it on a building.
As the Oklahoma City Thunder finished paving their path to the NBA Finals with a decisive victory over the San Antonio Spurs, James Harden threw up a pair of hand signals that were caught by both television and photographic cameramen. I actually witnessed the moment myself, but I didn’t think much of it. I kind of figured Harden was simply celebrating the three-point field...
James Harden may be a sixth man, but he is by no means a forgotten part of Oklahoma City’s fantastic season. On almost any other roster, Harden would be a starter. He has hit clutch shot after clutch shot all season for the Thunder — most recently when he buried a dagger down the stretch in Game 5 to put the Spurs away and turn the momentum of the Western Conference finals....
I was sitting with @VerizonAl at a Cavaliers game a few months ago when we first started talking about this James Harden to Cleveland idea. Harden will be a Restricted Free Agent after this upcoming season, and he will obviously command major dollars. The Thunder will not be able to pay Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka, AND James Harden when both Ibaka and Harden'...
An Oklahoma City store has given the front of its building the James Harden treatment with a full beard and mohawk.
Ketch Design Centre on N. Western Avenue, which sells windown and wall coverings, is showing off some of its work and taking advantage of the Thunder's playoff run in creative fashion. And now, with the Thunder winning the NBA Western Conference title Wednesday...
Congratulations Oklahoma City Thunder, you are in the NBA playoffs for the first time since moving from Seattle. You now have the chance to capture an NBA title.
It is a well-deserved march to the NBA Finals, thanks in large part to the play of James Harden.
The reigning Sixth Man of the Year made some clutch shots versus the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals, and steadied...
Usually if I'm talking about someone in their 3rd year as a professional and calling them the best ever at something it's probably a joke. Not in this case though. I seriously think this guy should come off the bench for the rest of his career. He still gets great minutes and puts up big points. No reason for him to ever change from the 6th man role. And honestly...
San Antonio Spurs fans show their team pride in many ways. Whether it be decorating their front yards with Spurs paraphernalia, downtown skyscrapers adorned with Spurs signs or hotels along San Antonio's famed Riverwalk leaving room lights to spell out the team chant of "Go Spurs Go." Even some Spurs fans shaved their favorite player's face in their hair.
In my haste to get caught up on the things that I loved and hated most about the NBA Playoffs so far – Rajon Rondo and Joey Crawford, respectively – I almost forgot my absolute biggest new sports man crush, James Harden. If the Oklahoma City Thunder don’t win it all this season, they better damn well get it done next season, because after that they’re probably going to...
SAN ANTONIO – Game 5 of the Western Conference finals was a battle of the sixth man and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s James Harden won.
The stats sheet will show that the Spurs Manu Ginobili scored 34 points and that Harden scored 20. The difference between the two..

OKLAHOMA CITY—We said that they would do it in six and that is exactly what happened. The Thunder are the Western Conference champs and now have their feet kicked up awaiting the winner of the Eastern Conference finals.

Watching the playoffs, dreaming of future free agents- “Heading into the 2013/14 season, the Thunder will be paying Kevin Durant $18.8M. Russell Westbrook just signed a...
It seems like everywhere I turn, whether it's on Twitter, or other national sites like Johnny Ludden's column regarding the Spurs-Thunder series, the general consensus is that the Thunder won't be able to keep James Harden and Serge Ibaka.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Who would have thought that after losing the first two games that the Oklahoma City Thunder would be beat the San Antonio Spurs three games straight? That is exactly what happened with the Thunder’s 108 to 103 victory in game 5 at San Antonio. Now, the Thunder have a chance to close out the Spurs in game 6 at Oklahoma City. The Thunder are unbeatable at home this...
