Sporting News staff reports
Greek club Olympiakos is making a run at another NBA star.
Multiple media outlets are reporting that the club is offering 10-time All Star guard Allen Iverson a two-year, $10 million contract. The club already employs former Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Childress and has inquired about free agents Nate Robinson, David Lee, Ramon Sessions and Linas Kleiza this offseason.
Olympiakos' offer to Iverson reportedly is for the same amount of years and money as what Iverson, an unrestricted free agent, is seeking from an NBA team. The Heat, Knicks, Clippers and Grizzlies reportedly have had interest in Iverson this offseason, but all those teams have since backed off.
