"Move _____ get out the way"
Thursday night in the sports world was supposed to follow a certain script. That script would include another easy win for the Miami Heat over the Milwaukee Bucks, another knock’em out drag’em out slobberknobber between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Memphis Grizzlies and the 2013 NFL Draft would consume roughly five hours of our [...]The post The Prayer List: Geno Smith And...
This has been quite the playoffs for dunks thus far. Chicago's Taj Gibson got into the act tonight, totally destroying Kris Humphries with this soaring dunk:
At least Taj Gibson's posterization of Kris Humphries will always be far less embarrassing than the Nets forward's "marriage" to Kim Kardashian.
One of the forgotten players on the Chicago Bulls is back-up forward Taj Gibson and well, he won’t be forgotten anytime soon after the threw down this massive slam dunk in the face of Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries.
The posterization happened in the second quarter of game three between the Nets/Bulls and well, I’ll let the slam dunk do the rest of the talking:
Taj Gibson of the Bulls was in no mood to be denied the rim Game 3 of an Eastern Conference first-round playoff series. Unfortunately Kris Humphries did not get the memo and tried to deny access to Taj. The result was a very nasty massacre at the rim.

The Chicago Bulls will need energizing performances from their bench throughout the playoffs if they plan to make a deep run. In particular, guys like Taj Gibson need to step up with Joakim Noah battling through a painful case of plantar fasciitis in his foot. Gibson made a big contribution on Thursday night.
He may have only scored four points in Chicago’s 79-76 Game 3 win over...
Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson has made a habit out of finishing some nasty dunks despite whatever the defense being played on him is. So when he drove the lane during Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals against the Brooklyn Nets you knew it might get nasty.
Watch below as Gibson is met by Kris Humphries in the air and still dunks all over him. Thanks to the...
The Bulls went up 2-1 in the opening round playoff series versus the Nets last night wining 79-76 in Chicago. It was a narrow win for Chicago and aside from the excitement towerds the end of the game, in the second quarter, Taj Gibson added some more spice to the game.
Gibson drove the the rim with only Kris Humphries in his way. Well, Taj made quick work of Humphries as he sent...
The Chicago Bulls went up 2 games to 1 on the Brooklyn Nets last night, but after the game everyone was talking about the Taj Gibson dunk. In the 2nd quarter Gibson set a pick and roll for Nate Robinson. Robinson passed the ball to a rolling Gibson, who then attacked the rim. Kris Humphries tried to stop Gibson, but it was too late. Gibson threw down a monster dunk on Humphries....
Taj Gibson laid down this thunderous dunk on Kris Humphries during Thursday's Nets-Bulls playoff game.
That was probably still less embarrassing for Humphries than the whole Kim Kardashian staged marriage.
After his annihilating dunk on Kris Humphries in the Bulls’ Game 3 win on Thursday night, Taj Gibson said he’d be willing to give the dunk contest a shot if the opportunity arose.
According to ESPN:
Gibson was asked about his interest in a possible dunk contest invite down the line.
“The dunk contest … it’s so tough now,” he said. “There’s so many gimmicks and so...
After 28 games, the Brooklyn Nets needed a kick start. Head Coach Avery Johnson won the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month in November, the first month of the season, but then the team fell apart. By late December, the Nets fell down to 14-14 and it was time to make a change. For all the moves that were made (and all the money that was spent) on Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Brook...
