In the words of head coach Frank Vogel, the Indiana Pacers made “a lot of noise” last season without All-Star Danny Granger, pushing the Miami Heat to the brink in the Eastern Conference Finals. Now, with Granger “on schedule” to be at full strength for the upcoming season, Vogel is very excited to see what his team can do, according to Scott Agness of Pacers.com.“It’s really exciting. Danny is on schedule, looks really good, he’s making progress each week and we’re hoping that were going to be having a full-strength Danny Granger this year to add to this team that made a lot of noise last year.”While Vogel’s report is certainly good news, he doesn’t mention an exact return date or range for Granger. This is likely to come out more as training camp approaches. Whatever the case, it sounds like the Pacers are expecting to have a healthy Granger around for a majority of the season. When Granger last suited up, he was hands down the Pacers’ key player, averaging over 18 points per game. Now, Indiana has other primary players to help share the load with Granger, including Paul George, George Hilland Roy Hibbert.Follow @hoopsinjurynews
