TEAMS: Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers
INDIANAPOLIS, March 20—It was a bad day all-around for Los Angeles basketball as the Clippers also lost to the Pacers 102-89.
Last night the Clippers had to have been waiting for Chris Paul to kick into high gear as he only salvaged 16 points from his repertoire.
Blake Griffin was on point as usual racking a double-double to provide 23 points and 10 rebounds.
The Clippers are inconsistent right now somewhat and the clock is ticking if they want to establish some sort of dominancy heading into the post-season.
They are playing .500 basketball on the road and are 3-5 within their own division. They are making their money for the most part at home.
Think about it like this. Tyler Hansbrough came off the bench and his 17 points out-dueled Chris Paul’s production.
Now there is some food for thought. Danny Granger lead the Pacers with 25 points.
This part of the year is where dreams come true. Let’s see how both of these teams handle it.
