Frank Vogel was criticized for a decision he made at the end of overtime. Did the Pacers coach acknowledge he made an error?
Lance Stephenson went by the nickname “Born Ready” as one of the nation’s top high-school basketball players and one of the most decorated New York prep products.
Often times during his one year at Cincinnati and his first two seasons with the Indiana Pacers, Stephenson made folks wonder if the “Born Ready” tag was purely hype and little substance amid instances of immaturity...
With the anticipated Pacers-Heat matchup just around the corner, I wanted to talk about the most confusing player from these two rosters: Roy Hibbert.
Hibbert, who signed a four-year, $58 million contract this offseason, is quietly the most overpaid center in the NBA. Yes, Hibbert is a superior defender who will constantly alter shots throughout the course of a game. But his shortcomings...
The Pacers can’t panic, but that is a game that was there for the taking and considering how infrequently the Heat lose, you can’t blow opportunities like the Pacers did.
No matter how people try to rationalize it, Hibbert should have been in the game and he knows it.
“I’ve grown as a player, this is my fifth year and maybe I need to start talking up more,” Hibbert told...

Wednesday night game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals went down between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers. The game went into overtime after Pacers Paul George tied it up by hitting a three pointer with .07 left in regulation. But ultimately too much LeBron proved to be the case as he hit the game winning shot in OT to secure a Heat victory, 103-102.
Paul George three for the Pacers forces OT last night.....
..... Then, LeBron James drives by George and connects with the left-handed layup in the final second of Overtime to take Game...

The Indiana Pacers let the Miami Heat off the hook in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and Pacers’ center Roy Hibbert is already complaining about foul play from one of the senior members of the Heat. Look, we are all for calling Shane Battier “Captain McMasterflop.” After all, Battier attended Flop U, and Coach K most likely shows highlights of Battier from his Blue...
Indiana Pacers guard Paul George delivered in a big way during Game 1 against the Miami Heat. With LeBron James right in his face and his team down by three with a little under a second remaining, George still found a way to sink the deep three.
Roy Hibbert hasn’t had the most fun of days after the Pacers took a brutal loss against the Heat in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals last night.
Now Hibbert has taken to twitter to put Shane Battier on blast for striking his knee into his crotch (video below).
U can knee or kick me every time u drive 2the rim. Ill be there 2protect the rim. That wasn’t inadvertent....
The Pacers will lock horns with the Miami Heat for a chance to play for an NBA Title. All anyone has been talking about the past few days is this Roy Hibbert block on Carmelo Anthony from the Eastern Conference semi’s.
Of course now everyone wants to know if that block will prevent LeBron James from challenging Hibbert at the rim?
According to the New York Daily News, James...
Michael Wilbon took to Twitter following LeBron James' game-winning layup, completely shredding the Indiana Pacers and head coach Frank Vogel.
For those of you who thought that the Indiana Pacers/Miami Heat Eastern Conference Finals series would be physical, you wee 100% correct.
During the first quarter of play, Miami’s Shane Battier attempted to throw down a slam dunk on Pacers center Roy Hibbert that didn’t convert.
Instead Shane’s knee went right into Roy’s groin region and as you’ll see from the video, it...
LeBron James ripped the hearts out of the Indiana Pacers in Game 1, hitting this game-winning buzzer-beater layup.
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By BRIAN MAHONEY AP Basketball Writer Deciding who plays, and when they don't, is one of the toughest parts of coaching.
Sometimes coaches stick with a player too long. Sometimes they have too much of a quick hook.
Indiana's Frank Vogel was still being criticized Thursday, long after he sent the Pacers out on the floor for the game's final possession...
Late in the first quarter, as Miami Heat forward Shane Battier drove to the hoop, Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert stepped in to defend the shot. Unfortunately, as Battier went to shoot, he jumped and hit Roy Hibbert in a place a man never wants to be hit or as the announcer would say the “midsection”.
Hibbert falls to the ground and obviously takes a while to get back up.
