Philadelphia will play Friday night at Indiana without leading scorer Jrue Holliday. Holliday has a sprained right foot. The guard has started all 22 games this season, averaging 18.4 points and has a team-high 196 assists. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by Dorell Wright, who is making his fifth start of the season. The 76ers (12-10) also will be without guard Royal Ivey, who has a strained right groin. The Pacers (11-11) also will be short-handed. Starting guard Lance Stephenson is out with a right ankle injury. 76ers looking for a new center?

The Philadelphia 76ers reportedly are looking for a new center. Andrew Bynum's knees have kept him out all year, so they may want someone to take his place.

WHAT A WORLD

Police release video of Bulls fan shooting

Police in Philadelphia have released graphic surveillance video of the shooting of a Bulls fan that occurred in a subway after the 76ers-Bulls game on Wednesday.

Pacers lose Hibbert, beat Pistons anyway

They may not have lost much on the offensive end, but the loss of Roy Hibbert in the second quarter to a bruised thigh certainly made me sweat a little. Fortunately, David West buckled down and entered beast mode in the second half, and George Hill and Paul George continued their stellar play as the Pacers overcame the Pistons 88-77 in Detroit, giving them their first three-game...

George stays hot in Pacers' victory

INDIANAPOLIS -- Paul George is proving he can carry the Indiana Pacers in Danny Granger's absence. George continued his hot scoring spree by pouring in 28 points in the Pacers' 95-85 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday. George has scored at least 17 points in each of the past six games. The Pacers are without Granger (knee) until at...

Andrew Bynum Hits Gentlemen’s Club In Slippers

Andrew Bynum sure seems comfortable in Philadelphia, as evidenced earlier this week when he opted to wear slippers sans socks at a hotel bar before heading to a local upscale Gentlemen’s Club, Penthouse Club Philadelphia, for some late night entertainment: According to the photographer, @DamePeriod: “Nah yo. Bynum gotta die b. He got on house slippers and no socks at the bar...

Tyler Hansbrough Defends Little Brother Ben Hansbrough After Elbow (Video)

The Indiana Pacers have both the Hansbrough brothers??  Honestly I had no idea.  Anyway, the Pacers beat the Cavaliers last night 96-81 and little brother Ben Hansbrough took an elbow to the face from forward Tristan Thompson. Big bro Tyler didn't like that and got up in Thompson's face and had a few words for him.  After a few seconds of screaming the two were separated...

Sixers' Holiday out with foot injury

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Jrue Holiday, the team's leading scorer, will miss Friday's game against Indiana and probably will be sidelined for a few more games because of a sprained foot sustained on Wednesday, CSNPhilly.com reported Friday. Holiday played more than 40 minutes against the Bulls and scored 26 points, but does not know exactly when the injury occurred...

The win put the Pacers two games over .500 for the first time this season. Paul George added 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Pacers top 76ers with three great performances

The end of the first half had me wondering whether the Pacers were destined to lose tonight's game against the 76ers. David West scores on a tip in to give the Pacers a 4-point lead with about 4 seconds to go. Off the inbound, Paul George goes for the steal and commits a foul with the Pacers over the limit. Two free throws later, David West gets his inbound pass intercepted,...

Pacers 95, 76ers 85

INDIANAPOLIS -- Paul George is proving he can carry the Indiana Pacers in Danny Granger's absence. George continued his hot scoring spree by scoring 28 points in the Pacers' 95-85 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday. Pacers-Pistons Preview

Paul George has relished his opportunity to play a larger role for the Indiana Pacers as Danny Granger continues to recover from a knee injury. The Detroit Pistons, though, found out what he was capable of last season. After another solid performance, George looks to help guide Indiana to a season-best third consecutive victory Saturday night against Detroit, which has won three...
