INDIANAPOLIS -- It took a game against a winless team, but the Indiana Pacers finally put an end to their three-game losing streak. Washington forward Trevor Booker missed a left-handed hook that would have tied the score with 1.2 seconds remaining in the Pacers' 89-85 victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday night. "Guys seemed a little tired, but really gutted it out," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. "We're in a figure-things-out kind of mode." Pacers swingman Paul George made two free throws after the Booker miss to seal the game. The loss dropped the Wizards to 0-5 on the season. They'll try to get their first victory Tuesday at Charlotte. The Pacers, who remain without leading scorer Danny Granger (knee), improved to 3-4. Down two with 17.9 seconds remaining, the desperate Wizards were looking for a 3-pointer for the win. The Pacers did an excellent job switching on picks to make sure the Wizards couldn't get a 3-pointer off. That...

George Hill was on fire. A three point play and a three-pointer helped the Pacers tie the game with the Timberwolves at 94 with less than 4 seconds left. On the Wolves' final possession, new addition Gerald Green momentarily lost track of his man, Chase Budinger. Pass. Lay up. Game over. Pacers fall to 2-4 to start the 2012-2013 season. There's no doubting it anymore. The...
Gerald Green has some major hops. We’ve seen it before, but the Indiana Pacers swingman continues to do it each night. In a game versus the Washington Wizards on Saturday, Green did much of the same when he was able to get an alley-oop dunk from George Hill in the first quarter. Green jumped so high on the play that his eyes got above the rim.
The 26-year-old finished the...

AJ Price put on a show tonight against the team that chose not to resign him this past offseason. Price finished the game with 12 points 14 assists along with ZERO turnovers. He looked every bit the part of a floor general tonight. He drove and dished...
Check out this great backdoor play by the Timberwolves Friday night to beat the Indiana Pacers 96-94.I don't know about you but I am tired of "hero ball" during the final seconds of a NBA game where a star player tries to go one on one against a defender while his four teammates on the court just stand and watch as the star player usually takes a ill fated and forced...
Gerald Green can surely jump. On an alley oop pass from George Hill during the Pacers’ game against the Wizards last night, Green jumped, had his eyes above the rim, and slammed it home.
Phew. That was close. In another grind-out game, the Pacers put away the Wizards 89-85 in just their second home game of the season, snapping a 3-game losing streak to improve to 3-4 for the season. The Pacers looked loke they were ready to lose another one for the majority of the game, constantly playing catchup from behind as former Pacer AJ Price dictated the Wizards offence. He...
I know Gerald Green isn't a Celtic any more but I still like the kid. There are a few players that I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for and he's one of them. He really needs to be back in the dunk contest.
