David Richard-USA TODAY SportsThe Miami Heat may be starting to sweat just a little bit now that we’re five days into free agency, with Lebron James having long since opted out of the final two years of his deal, and it appearing more and more likely that he’s seriously considering other options.
The pressure is on Pat Riley and the Miami front office to bring in some free agent talent to help convince Lebron that Miami can indeed make a push for another NBA title. The Heat did a great job getting Shabazz Napier, which was clearly a case of bringing in a player who the King wanted.
But it is clear that Napier is not enough. And Riley is well aware of this.

Deng is a two-time All-Star and an unrestricted free agent who played nine seasons with the Bulls, before being traded to the Cavaliers midway through last season. He’s a capable two-way player and would provide some depth to a Heat roster that is in desperate need.

This is an awful move for the Clippers. Spencer Hawes is a good player but the Clippers don’t need a power forward or a center which Hawes can play both.
