Mike D’Antoni announced Monday that Pau Gasol would be out as Lakers’ starter permanently. He stressed that the Lakers play better when they’re small and that Earl Clark, who played well in Gasol’s absence, is the new starting power forward.
Well, Pau Gasol isn’t happy with the decision as you may of suspected. He recently made it clear that he wants to continue to be a starter as he has been his entire career, and he reiterated that to TNT sideline reporter, Craig Sager, prior to Monday’s game in Chicago saying he is “not at all happy with the decision.”

On possibility of time with Lakers coming to an end with the trade deadline approaching: “It certainly looks like a possibility to me.”
