Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol was a pretty happy guy yesterday. The Spaniard didn’t get dealt before the NBA trade deadline and got to put all the speculation behind him.

Gasol fired off the following tweet when the deadline passed.

“The uncertainty has come to an end!” Gasol tweeted. “Happy to continue wearing the @Lakers uniform! Now time to focus in playing basketball and winning!”

Of course, his next logical move was to go tear up some karaoke. Gasol attended UNICEF’s Playlist with the A-List event Thursday night, where he performed The Fray’s ”How to Save a Life”… badly.

Premise of Video: Lakers forward Pau Gasol gets on stage to perform a song by the The Fray at a UNICEF fundraiser.

Climax of Video: The whole thing is great. How often do you get to see a seven-footer with so-so English singing an American rock song terribly?

Conclusion: We’re pretty sure this is right on par with something the band would sing themselves, since they totally suck.
