Beyond The Buzzer:
Paul George served up a facial on Chris Bosh with a nasty transition slam in the first quarter of Game 6 on Saturday:
BEST OF MAXIM
Bosh really seems like a nice guy, who just get caught making the funniest faces.
MIAMI -- Two centers have had some troubling recent days for very different reasons.Indiana Pacers pivot Roy Hibbert has been dominant in the Eastern Conference finals against the Miami Heat, averaging 22.8 points and 10.8 rebounds. But Hibbert was fined 75,000 by the NBA on Sunday for uttering during a Saturday night press conference a gay slur and a profanity.Heat big man Chris...
The Indiana Pacers forced a Game 7 last night, but the play of the game came when Paul George dunked on Chris Bosh.
Late in the 1st quarter George was on the fast break; he dribbled by Norris Cole and threw down a monstrous one hand jam on Chris Bosh. This is George’s 2nd big dunk of the conference finals, earlier in the series he dunked on Chris Anderson.
George is turning himself...
ONE WAY OF PUTTING IT
LeBron James confessed that Heat teammates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade aren't playing well, saying, "We can state the obvious: They’re both struggling."
Dwyane Wade has scored under 20 points in 12 straight games – the longest streak of his career. Chris Bosh has failed to reach double digit scoring in three straight games for the first time since his rookie year. Point blank, they’re struggling, but Wade says the cure is they need a bigger role in the Heat offense going into Game 7.
According to ESPN:
“We’ve got to do a...
Taken during Game 6 by a couple guys who snuck down courtside (full story via Deadspin). Riley is such a smug jag, anyone who can make him look like this is a hero. That’s why I’m nominating Chris Bosh for sainthood. 1 more 9-and-6 and Riles might commit a murder suicide.
Parker Pulls For Indiana
LeBron Fouled Out??!!?
Early in the Indiana Pacers Game 6 win against the Miami Heat, Paul George showed his flying talents, yet again.
With a one minute and a half remaining in the first quarter, George drove right past Norris Cole and then had this posterizing dunk over Chris Bosh.
Still impressive even if this slam by George isn’t even his best in the series.
I joined Justin Hull on "The Home Stretch" this afternoon to vent about the mess the Miami Heat find themselves. We talked about why Indiana looks poised for an upset, Dwyane Wade not aging well, Chris Bosh being a ghost and why Miami might be smart to deal Wade or Bosh this summer because LeBron James may bolt in 2014.
At the end of the first half of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals Saturday night the Miami Heat held a one-point lead, 40-39, over the Indiana Pacers.
Just like the other games in this series this one has been hard fought and full of stellar plays from both teams. Like this one where Indiana's Paul George posterizes Chris Bosh.
Not to be outdone, LeBron...
Paul George continues to make a name for himself during the playoffs. The Indiana Pacers forward threw down a sick dunk on Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh during the second quarter of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday in Indiana. Every bit as great as the dunk was TNT’s Marv Albert’s call, [...]
It’s that time again. Another game 7 only means another opportunity for a hero to triumph and a team to sulk in defeat. This year’s Eastern Conference Finals matchup has gone back and forth, with neither team being able to impose their style of play for an extended period of time.
Some games, it has been the speed, athleticism, and outside shooting of the Heat. In the 3 Indy...
