The Brooklyn Nets snapped the Cleveland Cavaliers’ three-game win streak, winning their 12th straight home game Friday night at the Barclay’s Center, 108-97. The Nets moved to a 38-33 season record, cruising in the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference standings. Brooklyn jumped out in front of the Cavaliers, starting the game on a 9-0 run in first quarter led by Paul Pierce. Pierce scored 17 points in the first 5:42 of the first quarter, absolutely exposing the Cavaliers’ perimeter defensive. Pierce led the Brooklyn Nets ‘Blue Dodgers’ with 22 points on 5-of-6 from the three-point line. Head Coach Jason Kidd told NBA.com contributors: “I thought everybody was touching the ball.
