The New Orleans Pelicans are extremely interested in signing Andre Iguodala in free agency, according to sources.
The Pelicans have already acquired his former teammate in Jrue Holiday in a draft-day trade.
Sam Amick of USA Today reports that the Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors are also interested in Iguodala.
The Denver Nuggets also want to retain him and will be able to offer the best contract.

The New Orleans Pelicans reportedly have strong interest in small forward Andre Iguodala who is about to become a free agent after declining his player option with the Denver Nuggets. Iguodala averaged 13 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 5.4 apg in 2012-13.

Ever since Andre Iguodala opted out of the final year of his contract with the Denver Nuggets (which would have paid him about $16 million, by the way), the Detroit Pistons have been mentioned as a possible suitor for the small forward.
