One of the Pelicans' new star players is getting a jump start on next season during Team USA mini-camp out in Las Vegas.
Point guard Jrue Holiday is striving to make the Team USA cut and represent at next year's World Cup championships - true.
But he's also using this time in Las Vegas to start bonding with fellow campers Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson, as well as coaches Monty Williams and Randy Ayers.
"We're going to grow together; we're going to learn each other - each other's ways and tendencies. From there, big things are going to happen," predicts Holiday.
The 5th year NBA veteran is excitedly expressing confidence in the Pels sharp-shooting, promising young line up of Davis, Anderson, Eric Gordon, AL-Farouq Aminu and Tyreke Evans.
"Man, all I've got to do is pass. I've got the easy part! They've got the part of shooting the ball, getting it off the board, lobs, all that. I just have to get them the ball where they want to get it," says Holiday.
Williams is an ass...
