The prediction on new Phillie Delmon Young, “a cheaper mistake than Sixers Andrew Bynum”. After being cleared by a California doctor to increase his baseball activity, Young had little positive to say. Asked if he was anxious to start playing games, Young’s response, “No, not really, it’s only March 6. I’m not anxious at all.” The Bynum comparison might be a bit unfair to Bynum, asat least his statements over the course of the year were well, NOT SO NEGATIVE. Young who the Phillies got on the cheap is most definitely heading toward the world of BOOS, hecklers and insults when or if he gets to play at The Bank. Statements such as these are well-remembered and Manuel, Amaro or some unnamed player needs to take Young on a trip behind the woodshed. Phillie fans, the are blunt, honest and appreciate EFFORT. If this is your plan for the season, a crappy attitude you better get yourself some ear plugs because it will be a long year for you. Better yet, if you can’t change the attitude, don’t come north at all.Similar Posts: The Sixers have a clear path to take, let Bynum walk with no offer Sixers ran out of gas against Toronto or do they lack heart?
