Goran Dragic, Jared Dudley, the Morris Twins and Marcin Gortat are the Phoenix Suns’ five best players. That says it all. That is why they are one of the worst teams in the NBA, with the worst long-term upside. They have no long-term piece that can be said to be a franchise cornerstone, but that needs to be changed. They will have a very high pick in the draft and could luck out and get the first overall pick, but that would only be a start. They have cap space this off-season and have an opportunity to upgrade the team and here are some moves they should make after the season. The days of Steve Nash seem a long time past. The Draft They are currently projected to have the 4th pick in the draft and will probably end up with a top five pick. What they need is an upgrade on the perimeter and regardless of where they pick, there are two players they should go after, Ben McLemore and Shabazz Muhammad.
