Now that San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan has opened up his new car customization business, BlackJack Speed Shop, it means TD will be showing off some of his sweet rides. Case in point, his 1955 Bel Air. Check out this photo (via BlackJack Speed Shop) of TD's sweet ride and much like his game on the court, it is a classic beauty proving old school is still the best over any modern car. Tim Duncan and DeJuan Blair out Wednesday; Tiago Splitter is a must-start

The San Antonio Spurs will be without Tim Duncan and DeJuan Blair Wednesday night against the Charlotte Bobcats. Duncan (knee) hasn't suited up since January 21. He did participate in shootaround, but still isn't ready to go. Tiago Splitter has been a gem all season and has played really well without the Big Fundamental in the lineup. He'll get all the time he...

Blair says not to let the 'DNPs' fool you

The San Antonio Spurs have played 47 games so far this season. DeJuan Blair has made an appearance in 34 of them. For those too lazy to do the math, that’s 13 games that Blair hasn’t even seen the floor. It’s pretty clear that he’s one of the last guys on the bench and with the way Tiago Splitter has been playing and with the addition of Aron Baynes, you have to wonder...

Popovich to coach West All-Stars

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich will coach the Western Conference All-Stars for the third time in his career. Popovich earned the spot after San Antonio beat Charlotte 102-78 on Wednesday, ensuring the Spurs (37-11, .771) will have the best record in the West through games played Sunday. The Oklahoma City Thunder's Scott Brooks was not eligible to coach in this year...

Video: Popovich commends coaching staff for filling in

The San Antonio Spurs had to play three games in a row without their head coach. Gregg Popovich was out with the flu, but in true Spurs fashion, the team didn’t miss a beat. They won all three games and showed why Coach Pop doesn’t need to necessarily be on the bench to help the team win. His way of thinking is ingrained in everyone, from the players down to every member of the...

Video: Ginobili's no look behind-the-back pass to Green

Manu Ginobili has shown San Antonio Spurs fans some pretty nifty passes throughout his career in a silver and black uniform. He's gotten older and lost his quickness throughout the years, but he's still one of the smartest minds on the court. He showed that against the Charlotte Bobcats with a ridiculously perfect no-look behind the back pass to Danny Green for a three point...

Bobcats-Spurs Preview

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has challenged Tony Parker to become a franchise player, and the veteran point guard has played like it with Tim Duncan out with a knee injury. Popovich will be back on the sidelines for the first time in four games, but Duncan's return is questionable as the NBA-leading Spurs go for a ninth straight win and 17th in a row at home Wednesday...

Spurs coach Popovich returns

Gregg Popovich is scheduled to be back coaching the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night against Charlotte after missing the past three games with an illness. However, Spurs forward Tim Duncan is expected to miss his fourth straight game because of a knee injury, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

Video: Parker's circus-layup vs. Bobcats

The San Antonio Spurs pasted the Bobcats last night 102-78 led by Tony Parker's 22 points and two of TP's posts was done in style. After a steal by Tiago Splitter, Parker was off to the races and heading to the paint. The only person standing between him and the rim was Kemba Walker. However, this is Parker we are talking about. You know, the crafty veteran guard who...

Video: Baynes' highlights vs. Bobcats

Aron Baynes' first real game with the San Antonio Spurs took place against the Charlotte Bobcats and the young Aussie big man showed flashes of what he can bring to the team. This was Baynes' first game with the real core of the team in meaningful minutes and he did not disappoint. Although still learning the Spurs' ways, he showed enough to give Spurs fans some hope...

Spurs 102, Bobcats 78

Tony Parker had 22 points and the San Antonio Spurs never trailed in beating the Charlotte Bobcats 102-78 on Wednesday night, extending their winning streak to nine games. Kawhi Leonard added 18 points, Danny Green had 17 and Tiago Splitter 15 for San Antonio, which has won 17 straight at home. Ramon Sessions came off the bench to score a team-high 22 points for Charlotte, which...

The All-Star Break & Beyond

This week San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker and Tim Duncan were selected to the NBA’s Mid-Winter Classic in Houston with coach Gregg Popovich more than likely to coach the West All-Stars. While it will be great way to cap the first half of the season, the team needs to make sure everyone makes it to the All-Star Break healthy and prepared for the remainder of the season. ...
