The Windy Apple:
As a recent addition to the Knicks, Jason Kidd didn’t exactly make a good impression when he was arrested on a DWI charge in the Hamptons, and totaled his Cadillac SUV. Here’s a photo of the wrecked vehicle via New York Daily News:
BEST OF MAXIM
A photo of the SUV Jason Kidd crashed before he was arrested for DUI has surfaced, and from the looks of it, he should consider himself lucky to be alive.
When Jason Kidd was arrested this past weekend for DUI and crashing his SUV into a telephone pole for some reason I got the impression that it was actually a minor accident that maybe bent up the front fender and broke some headlights.
I was wrong.
Jason Kidd totaled his SUV and it’s really quite remarkable he actually survived the crash.
Thank god he didn’t hit anyone else.
According to the N.Y. Post, newly signed superstar of the New York Knicks Jason Kidd was WASTED in the early morning hours of Sunday; so much so that Kidd didn't even know that he had crashed his car into a power pole in Southhampton. Police say that when they found Kidd, after the car crash, he smelled of booze and had bloodshot eyes when police responded to the one-car pileup...
On Sunday new New York Knick Jason Kidd crashed his Escalade after having a few drinks too many out in the Hamptons. Amazingly, he walked away from the accident with only minor injuries despite the horrific-looking damage to his ride. "Linsanity" has come to a close in the Big Apple. Jeremy Lin is no longer a member of the New York Knicks' organization. Now that you've had time to weep and wipe your tears away, let us focus on much more positive things. Though Lin is indeed gone from the equation, the Knicks already have two worthy point guards more than capable of filling the void. The time is...
Do we want to go into next season with Ray Felton and Jason Kidd as our point guards? Felton in 2012 is not the same as Felton in 2010. I question if he is in NBA basketball shape and if he can recover his outside shooting--only 30% from beyond the arc last year. Similarly, If Jason Kidd's recent DWI arrest is an indication of how he intends to behave off court, I would...
When did drinking and driving and rollin’ up on your own momma become the hot thing to do?
Look no further than Dallas Cowboy’s wide receiver Dez Bryant and New York Knicks guard Jason Kidd.
Both gentleman found themselves on the other side of the mug shot camera within the last few days, as did Seattle Seahawk’s running back, Marshawn Lynch.
In my previous post, “Is Jason Kidd the Difference Maker to Take the New York Knicks Back to the Finals?” I noted how I felt that the Knicks acquiring Jason Kidd was a good signing because he would help Jeremy Lin to become a better ball player. This was before Jason Kidd goes out and gets arrested for DWI and slams his SUV into a pole. This was before the Knicks...
Over the weekend Jason Kidd got super wasted at the club, somehow was allowed get into his car and drive, ended up crashing his car and getting a DWI. The photo of what his SUV looked like afterwards was just released and it was worse than his shooting percentage last year (36%).
Here’s a list of 5 things that are about as bad as what Jason Kidd’s SUV looks like (in no order...
