Roses are red, violets are blue, and here’s a lawsuit for you. On Valentine’s Day of all occasions, current Detroit Pistons forward and former Los Angeles Clipper star Blake Griffin was hit with a palimony lawsuit by his former fiancee, Brynn Cameron.

The suit claims that Griffin backed out of a marriage a week before it was expected to happen, leading Cameron and the former couple’s two children out in the cold.

“Griffin himself, however, knows very well what breaching promises is all about. After all, Griffin had no problem trading Brynn Cameron, his former fiancee, and the mother of his 2 children, for reality television star Kendall Jenner,” the suit reads, via TMZ Sports.

Ouch.

Griffin was shockingly traded to Detroit earlier this season, mere months after he had signed a contract extension with the Clippers. One could say, his decision to leave Cameron set in motion payback in that regard.

The suit goes on to allege that Cameron did pretty much everything for Griffin prior to him leaving her for reality television star Kendall Jenner.

“Cameron was not just the mother of Griffin’s children and their caregiver, she was also a constant support for Griffin — his personal assistant, meal planner, scheduler, stylist, publicist, party planner, nurse, nutritionist, branding expert, therapist, cheerleader, basketball and fitness consultant, and more.”

TMZ Sports later reported that Griffin’s decision to leave Cameron was over an issue with the prenup. The suit claims that Cameron agreed to remain at home — giving up her career — so Griffin could focus on his NBA future. It also says that Griffin then told her that he would take care of Cameron and their two children for life.

She wants millions in return.

Griffin might be the most popular member of his team, per our SNIPdaily Detroit Pistons Top 40. But we’re pretty sure he’s a villain in the Cameron household right now.

Oh, the sour taste of broken promises and destroyed romances on this here Valentine’s Day. It’s almost a plot pulled directly from an Emo novella.
