Prince scored 20 points, and Greg Monroe added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Detroit, which had five players in double figures. Charlie Villanueva and Brandon Knight added 11 points apiece, and Jason Maxiell scored 10 for the Pistons. Monta Ellis had 30 points and nine assists, and Erson Ilyasova scored 24 points for the Bucks. Both teams were coming off wins over the defending NBA champion Miami Heat. Detroit beat Miami 109-99 in Auburn Hills on Friday night and the Bucks beat the Heat 104-85 in Milwaukee one night later. Ellis hit a fallaway baseline jumper with 1:06 left, after almost losing the ball out of bounds, to give the Bucks their first lead, 94-92. But Prince's hook shot tied the score with 50.5 seconds remaining. Ellis missed a jumper with 31.9 seconds to go and Maxiell got the rebound. Follo...

Assorted Observations: What’s Gotten Into Will Bynum?

***In 22 appearances, Will Bynum has a total of 164 points this season.  About a third of these points have been scored in the two games his Pistons have played since Christmas.  On Wednesday, Bynum and his season-high 31 spearheaded a Detroit bench attack that racked up 85 points in a double-overtime loss to the Hawks.  As impressive as Bynum was, Jeff Teague stole the show down...

The Pistons seek their fourth straight victory at The Palace on Tuesday night when they open 2013...

POTD 12/28/12: Tayshaun Prince on Chris Bosh

Terrence Ross has regularly been wowing us with his athleticism for weeks now, and just last night he threw down one of the nastiest poster dunks of the season.  Unfortunately, it didn’t count.  Just before the would-be victim, Jason Smith, could jump to contest the jam, Amir Johnson held his arm.  The foul was subtle, but the officials caught it and a whistle was blown, negating...
