Billionaire Tom Gores purchased the Detroit Pistons before last season. They went on to win 25 games – their lowest win total since during their teal era in 1993-94. 25 is a terrible number when talking the number of wins in an 82 game regular season. Then again, 25 is an insane number when talking about the number of rooms in one house. And the Beverly Hills mansion that Gores put on the market recently includes more than 25 rooms in the 11,000 square foot neighborhood. The numbers two and five are also significant in that Gores is worth an estimated $2.5 billion. No, he didn’t make his cash watching Charlie Villanueva sit the pine, but rather through his private equity firm, Platinum Equity.Gores future former home includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The master suite has two walk-in closets, private office, a terrace with a fireplace and a steam shower. The backyard features a bathhouse, gazebo and a saltwater pool. Along with the decent master suite, the home has two bars, a wood-paneled library (seen below) and a loggia. I’m no super-house aficionado and have no idea what a loggia is, but I know my house doesn’t have one.Mr. Gores’ home can be yours for $10,750,000…or whatever he decides to sell it for. He’s building a new pad in the nearby Holmby Hills area of Beverly Hills. Mr. Gores if you’re reading, this post might be worth a small percentage of commission when this sells…is that cool?
