The Detroit Pistons have exercised the 2014-15 option on the contract of Andre Drummond.
The move was a formality.
Drummond had a successful rookie season in 2012-13, averaging 7.9 points and 7.6 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per game.

The move is a formality that will be repeated again next year when the Pistons exercise their 2015-16 option on Drummond who is scheduled to make about $2.6 million next year and $3.3 million in 2015-16.
