With plenty of money to spend this offseason, the Pistons have seemingly been in on a fair share of free agents as the NBA shopping season starts full swing. The NBA gods know as well that the Pistons and especially Joe Dumars are in need of a successful and productive offseason that will both win games for Detroit and draw fans back to the Palace of Auburn Hills.
So with that said lets take a look at some of the latest rumblings surrounding the Pistons and Free Agency.
Josh Smith may become a very rich man with the Pistons
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reported early Monday morning that the Pistons were hot after Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith and that the team was prepared to offer the free agent a very substantial contract offer.
