AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Detroit Pistons had plenty in reserve while rolling to their biggest margin of victory in nearly five seasons. Led by Charlie Villanueva's season-high 19 points, the Pistons' bench contributed 56 points in a 117-77 romp over the Phoenix Suns at The Palace on Wednesday night. Detroit, which won consecutive games for the first time this season, hadn't won by 40 or more points since a 114-69 victory over Milwaukee on Dec. 31, 2007. "You don't have a lot of games like that," Pistons coach Lawrence Frank said. Starting point guard Brandon Knight scored 19 points and Rodney Stuckey, the sixth man, had 18 for the Pistons (5-11), who have won five of eight after starting the season with eight losses. Detroit had a season high in points while recording its fourth straight home victory. Villanueva has averaged 15.3 points in the last three games after being inserted into the rotation.
