Cunningham currently leads the team in both assists (5.2) and steals per game (1.3), while ranking second in points (15.8) and third in rebounds per contest (5.5). The rookie point guard has posted a .397/.328/.860 shooting line through his first 41 career games.
Jackson is in his fifth NBA season and second in Detroit, averaging 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 18.1 minutes per contest. He's played in 39 games and made three starts, but Friday will be his fourth straight missed contest.
The Pistons (12-39) host the Boston Celtics (28-25) at 7 p.m. ET on Friday.
