With the departure of long-time Piston, Richard “Rip” Hamilton, Tayshuan Prince (signed to a 4 year deal) and Ben Wallace are the only Pistons from the ’04 championship team to survive. With Kuester out after one horrid season, new HC Lawrence Frank is now at helm. Frank previously served as the head coach of the Nets and as an assistant coach in Boston.  Did I mention the emergence of possible rookie of the year Brandon Knight? This kid is a beast in the making, watchout for him fellow Pistons fans.  The start of a new era is what I call it, but what do I know? With those moves the youth movement has officially begun in Detroit, even though some over-payed vets still remain, were looking at you Charlie V. and Ben Gordon.  The 2011-2012 seems to be a “Rebuilding” year, but with a little bit of luck, it could turn into a playoff-bound year.
