Pistons Sign Eugene Omoruyi to Second 10-Day Deal

The Pistons have signed small forward Eugene Omoruyi to a second 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.

Omoruyi, 26, is 6-foot-7 and was recently waived by the Thunder, signing his first 10-day deal with the Pistons on March 2. He has appeared in five games with Detroit, averaging 8.2 points and 2.6 rebounds.

In 23 appearances with OKC, he averaged 4.9 points and 2.3 rebounds, shooting 47 percent from the field.

He also played in 13 games with the Oklahoma City Blue of the G League, compiling averages of 17.5 points and 5.7 boards.

A native of Ontario, Canada, Omoruyi appeared in four games with the Mavericks as a rookie in 2021-22.
