The Detroit Pistons have signed second-round draft pick Khris Middleton to a contract. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed by the team. Middleton, the 39th overall pick in the June draft, averaged 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in three seasons at Texas A&M. His best year came as a sophomore when the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 14.4 points and 5.2 rebounds, shot 36.1 percent on 3-pointers and was named second-team All-Big 12.
