On the court Ty Lawson's gifts are easy to see — the speed the quickness the ball handling that help make him an elite point guard in the NBA. On a computer screen full of numbers his game looks something like this: PIE (11.8 percent) TS% (54.9) TmTOV% (14.6) ASTRatio (28.2) and NetRtg (4.4). Confused? You're not alone. But the people who study it invented parts of it...
LA Clippers All-Star Chris Paul torched the Denver Nuggets (2-3) for 40 points in a 118-111 overtime win Saturday. Evan Fournier and Anthony Randolph each tallied 16 pts for the Nuggets off the bench at The Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
The Nuggets had a chance to win at the end of the fourth quarter.
Down 104-102 with 22.5 seconds left , Paul drove to the basket...
Denever Nuggets’ small forward Kenneth Faried is entering his third NBA season. There has been notable improvement in his game, but at 23 years old, still a raw talent that needs increased time to full develop. Unfortunately, that time may be put on hold due to a hamstring injury.
As reported by Kurt Helin of NBCSports.com, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reported that Faried...
If you have played Nintendo’s Mario Kart, then you’ll know that these sounds by Denver Nuggets goofballs JaVale McGee and Evan Fournier.
If you have never played Nintendo’s Mario Kart, then you will have to accept my word that these sounds by Denver Nuggets goofballs JaVale McGee and Evan Fournier sound exactly like the game.

Given his track record shooting 3-point shots Randy Foye's first three games with the Nuggets are the exception to his normally sharpshooting rule.
But he's in no way worried about it.
Signed during the offseason to a three-year contract to bolster the Nuggets' 3-point shooting Foye has started slowly. In four exhibition games he's averaging 7.7 points on 40.7 percent...
In Friday night's NBA preseason game at the Staples Center, Los Angeles Clippers guard Darren Collison delivered an awesome alley oop pass to center DeAndre Jordan for a monster slam dunk. Unfortunately, Collison paid for it afterwards as Jordan's dunk hit him right in the face. Like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Video via NBA. Visit us at holdoutsports.com...
Doc Rivers told CP3 “he was nothing” during their first conversation as player and coach, and now Chris Paul is hell bent on proving to Rivers just how good he really is.
I’m not sure if it was the powder blue uniform with the sleeves, or the fact that he saw a quality guard in Ty Lawson across from him, but Paul went off on the Nuggets Saturday night.
Paul was 13-of-21 shooting...
The Clippers are sure putting a lot of eggs into one 6-foot-11, 250-pound basket.
In addition to touting center DeAndre Jordan as a member of the Clippers’ new “Big Three” along with Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, the team plans to put Jordan on the cover of its media guide, according to The Los Angeles Times. Jordan’s inclusion on the cover with Griffin and Paul is a bold...
With Doc Rivers at the helm the Los Angeles Clippers are finally getting their own identity. Most would believe that the Lakers own the Staples Center and the Clippers are just the guy sleeping on the couch, however the team is trying to change that perspective. During Clippers home games this year all of the Lakers banners including championship and retired jerseys will be covered...
The Los Angeles Clippers will be doing their best to cover up the 16 reminders of Lakers history this season.
Apparently, the Clippers are redecorating the Staples Center in part by covering up Lakers banners with giant faces of Clippers players, instead.
There are two ways to look at this move, obviously. The first is that the Clippers are just trying to make themselves feel...
Clippers Coach Doc Rivers had the Lakers' championship banners covered and had his players' banners draped over them instead at Staples Center.
Rivers said it will be done whenever it's the Clippers' home game in the arena they share with the Lakers.
The Lakers have 12 championship banners Minneapolis has its five titles on one banner and 10 retired jerseys, including...
Los Angeles Clippers head Coach Doc Rivers had the Los Angeles Lakers championship banners covered up and had his players’ banners draped over them instead at Staples Center on Friday. Rivers is reported to say that the Clippers will do this with every home game they have in the season.

None of the Los Angeles Lakers' banners -- championship, retired or special ones -- will be displayed by the Los Angeles Clippers when they play home games at Staples Center this season.
Making their exhibition debut for the 2013-14 season on Friday, seven oversized Clippers banners hide every bit of the Lakers' storied history.
