Argentinian point guard Pablo Prigioni is set to make his NBA debut this season with the New York Knicks. It is not clear yet how he will fit into the rotation with the Knicks signing Jason Kidd and trading for Raymond Felton, but Prigioni feels confident this three-headed point guard tandem will help the Knicks get past the Jeremy Lin era. “I think we have at that position everything,” Prigioni said. “Raymond can score more. Jason and [I] can run the team. I feel we have many options at that position. Fans will be happy and enjoy our game.” “Jeremy is more a scorer. He likes to shoot more. I saw him play 10 games. I’m not this kind of player. I like the team to play good, pass the ball, find open shots. I like to play smart — if someone’s hot, pass the ball to him.’’ Prigioni could be just what the Knicks need. With all the weapons they have, they do not need a point guard who is always looking to score. They need someone who distributes well and runs an offense. I think the Roc...

Carmelo Anthony says he is blamed for anything that happens in New York

Carmelo Anthony gets blamed for lots of things that are not his fault. Just ask him if you do not believe me. One thing in particular he has been unfairly ridiculed for recently is Jeremy Lin leaving New York for the Houston Rockets. Despite glossing Lin the Knicks' Rudy Rudiger in February, and then drowning out the tidal wave of enthusiasm for Linsanity by simply stepping...

Carmelo Anthony and Mike D’Antoni seem to be getting along at the Olympics

When we last saw Mike D’Antoni, he was resigning as the Knicks coach, seemingly as the fall guy in an alleged contentious relationship with his star player Carmelo Anthony. That was in March. Now, after moping around in his PJ’s, D’Antoni is an assistant on Mike Krzyzewski’s coaching staff for Team USA. A team that, oh by the way, Anthony is also a member of. Awkward? One...

What do you think the Knicks BEST lineup will be and Why?

Well Knicks fans, another year, another lineup ! Gulp ! With that said, I think Grun did a really good job putting together a WIN NOW team because quite frankly, getting new young players over and over again who play well during the season and don't perform in the post season is for the birds (Fields = froze up, Shump = hurt, Lin = 85% didn't play, Amare = picked a fight...
