TEAMS: Chicago Bulls
He'll be gone until somewhere around February.  There are three scenarios for the Chicago Bulls that may play out during Derrick Rose's absence.  They could fall out of contention, they could hang on by a string, or they could not miss a beat.  No matter what scenario comes to fruition, it will happen without Rose.  Rose is making progress in his recovery from a torn ACL, but he is not anywhere near ready to take the court.  With that being said, the Bulls will open the season with a lineup that does not feature their superstar guard.Doug Thonus of Chicago Now put together a projected starting lineup and a lineup that includes projected minutes.  It appears Thonus believe Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng will have the biggest roles on the team with Rose on the bench.  Here are his projections:PG: Hinrich 38/Robinson 10SG: Hamilton 30/Belinelli 18SF: Deng 38/Butler 10PF: Boozer 26/Gibson 22C: Noah 30/Nazr 10/Gibson 8The Bulls still have a decent lineup without Rose, but when he gets back, the team should be every bit as dominant as they were last season - if Rose can come back at 100%.  No one knows how his knee will react to being back on the court.  For now, though, the Bulls will have to settle for a lineup similar to the one above. Latest episode of Derrick Rose's 'The Return'

Unless you have some sort of soul, I find it very hard to believe that you would not like Derrick Rose. This spot aired mainly in the midwest this evening during the Bears MNF win over the Lions, and as a west coast-er I was bummed I missed it. Thanks to the beautiful internet and Adidas I got to see the below:Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

NBA Preview: Nothing rosy for Bulls

So much is unknown, and that is all we know about the Chicago Bulls. When will Derek Rose actually get to play? How severe is his knee injury? Would he be better off just sit out the entire season? Mostly, can the Bulls survive without him? Even for just a little while? Sure, they can. At least, we think they can. They did for a long stretch last season. Heck, they won the Central...

Derrick Rose Injury: Bulls' Star Getting Advice From Others

If you are to believe his Adidas commercial, Derrick Rose's return is imminent.  Of course, life is not a commercial.  Rose has a long rehab ahead of him still.  He's had a long rehab process behind him as well.  He's getting better, but he is still months away from being ready for game-style action.  In the meantime, while he works toward getting back on the court...

Bulls vow to get by without Rose

The Chicago Bulls insist they shouldn't be written off this season just because Derrick Rose is recovering from a torn ALC in his left knee. Rose isn't expected back until early next year. The Bulls also lost a lot of their ''bench mob'' - the reserves that gave Chicago one of the deeper benches in the NBA and helped the team lock up the top seed in the Eastern...

2012 NBA Preview: Central Division

It’s weird how the fate of a division can rest on some knee ligaments, huh? Not too long ago, this was Chicago’s division to lose, with former MVP Derrick Rose leading the way. With Rose on the sidelines, the division is completely up for grabs. Chicago Bulls Key Additions: Maquis Teague, Marco Belinelli, Kirk Hinrich, Nate Robinson Key Subtractions: Omer Asik, Ronnie Brewer...
