He'll be gone until somewhere around February.  There are three scenarios for the Chicago Bulls that may play out during Derrick Rose's absence.  They could fall out of contention, they could hang on by a string, or they could not miss a beat.  No matter what scenario comes to fruition, it will happen without Rose.  Rose is making progress in his recovery from a torn ACL, but he is not anywhere near ready to take the court.  With that being said, the Bulls will open the season with a lineup that does not feature their superstar guard.Doug Thonus of Chicago Now put together a projected starting lineup and a lineup that includes projected minutes.  It appears Thonus believe Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng will have the biggest roles on the team with Rose on the bench.  Here are his projections:PG: Hinrich 38/Robinson 10SG: Hamilton 30/Belinelli 18SF: Deng 38/Butler 10PF: Boozer 26/Gibson 22C: Noah 30/Nazr 10/Gibson 8The Bulls still have a decent lineup without Rose, but when he gets back, the team should be every bit as dominant as they were last season - if Rose can come back at 100%.  No one knows how his knee will react to being back on the court.  For now, though, the Bulls will have to settle for a lineup similar to the one above.
