New York Knicks/Boston Celtics: Game 4 -       Celtics trying to avoid being swept. Knicks playing without J.R. Smith, their Sixth Man of the Year (called it!). -       Celtics coming out strong and hitting shots early. The question is whether or not they can sustain that over a whole game. In each of the first three games there have been major scoring droughts that allowed the Knicks to win. -       Is there anyone in the NBA you want taking a wide open three-pointer more than Steve Novak? Maybe Matt Bonner, but man, those guys are almost automatic when left unguarded. (Of course, right after I type that, Novak misses a wide-open three. I have a gift for jinxing.) -       Carmelo Anthony reminds me of the degenerate gambler at the blackjack table. He goes on a bad run but figures the luck has to even out so he keeps putting that money down on the table, hoping to win back what he has lost. Anthony could go 0-30 from the field, but he is not going to stop shooting.

Celtics-Knicks Preview

J.R. Smith may have altered a series with one poor decision. He certainly forced his midweek plans to change. When he dropped Boston's Jason Terry with an elbow to the chin late in Game 3 on Friday night, Smith earned a suspension that left the New York Knicks without their No. 2 scorer during the regular season for Game 4 on Sunday. The Knicks didn't have enough offense...

(VIDEO) J.R. Smith Hits Jason Terry With A Vicious Elbow

The Knicks/Celtics game last night never really felt like a game. Once again, the Celtics struggled to score the basketball while the Knicks rain 3-pointers. The highlight of the night though was in the forth quarter when J.R. Smith threw a vicious elbow at Jason Terry. Smith had the ball in the corner, Terry swiped at it, Smith didn’t like that, and retaliated with a UFC quality...

Knicks Lose Heartbreaker in Overtime 97-90

By Max Marcilla Knicks 90 Celtics 97 Boxscore At the end of the half, things were bad for the Knicks. New York had been averaging just fewer than 12 turnovers per game in the first three matches in the series. Today was a different story, as they had 12 turnovers in the first half. In addition to their sloppy ball handling and passing, the Knicks were shooting atrociously. A team...
