Uhm, yeah? What exactly were you thinking with this? Who in their right mind would ever green-light something like this? How would you not think this is extremely offensive?
From The Post Game:
Following the Knicks’ seventh straight win on Wednesday night, MSG showed viewers an image featuring guard Jeremy Lin’s head in between ends of a broken fortune cookie with the sentence “The Knicks’ Good Fortune” on a piece of paper.
This will create some serious trouble for MSG Network, the New York Knicks broadcast partner at a time when Jeremy Lin is the feel good story for the NBA and America at large. The underdog story of a Taiwanese-American and Harvard graduate who had no D-1 offers and went undrafted is dominating sports media right now; so this pic will no doubt get a lot of negative attention.
