Read in Doug Smith’s blog today that the Toronto Raptors are making a case for Wilson Chandler, who just finished a season playing in China. Chandler always impressed me when he was with the Knicks and I did not really get to see him play much when he was with the Nuggets (who have also met with Chandler). The guy can score and for the Raptors, that is much needed these days. Until Bargnani comes back, Toronto is really fighting to put points on the board and adding Chandler would be ideal. But before we get our hopes up, Chandler would still need to get a letter of clearance from the Chinese league and FIBA before being able to return to the NBA. And the Nuggets are currently sitting in the playoffs, so that may help Chandler decide where he wants to go. Once can only hope he has fallen in love with Chinese culture and that would make Toronto a far more appealing place than Denver (or elsewhere). Stay tuned. addthis_url = 'http%3A%2F%2Fcuzoogle.com%2F2012%2F02%2F23%2Fraptors-after-wilson-chandler%2F'; addthis_title = 'Raptors+after+Wilson+Chandler'; addthis_pub = '';
