Rasheed Wallace on his role w/NYK: "I accept my Brian Scalabrine role. I'm cool with it."about 11 hours ago via TweetDeckReplyRetweetFavorite@JeffZillgittJeff ZillgittI only shared this because I thought it would significantly enhance your life. Also, because I wanted to point out that Scal — who still doesn’t seem 100 percent comfortable on camera — provides plenty of phenomenal analysis about the game of basketball. It’s too early to say whether he will or won’t, but Scal would be the perfect replacement for whenever Tommy Heinsohn steps down (or gets forcibly removed from his position for bludgeoning a referee with a baseball bat, whichever comes first).

Sheed: I'm the Knicks' 'Scalabrine'

Rasheed Wallace knows his best days are long behind him, but he's more than comfortable with his bench role on the Knickerbockers.

The New York Knicks lined up at center court at Madison Square Garden before Friday night's game against the Miami Heat, which was the first NBA game held in New York City since the Hurricane Sandy tragedy. Knicks roll past Heat 104-84 in New York opener

Carmelo Anthony heard the news about the New York City Marathon being canceled, then came out to warm up and saw plenty of empty seats at Madison Square Garden. At that moment, it would've been easy to agree with Dwyane Wade and others, that this wasn't the time to be playing games. By tip-off, Anthony and the Knicks knew otherwise. Fans had filled the place, when even...

'Melo Anthony gives NYC fans a pep talk before Knicks beat Heat

A sports team's season debut should never be this dramatic.  And for the New York Knicks, this wasn't even supposed to be their 2012 season opener and it almost wasn't. Friday night's Knicks first game of the season against the Miami Heat became the first major sporting event in New York since superstorm Sandy hit the area. The Knicks already had their first...

PHILLY IN BIG TROUBLE TODAY AT THE GARDEN

After dismantling the world Chump Heat... the make up of this Knick team will not be taking nights off as they have done under past coaches. The depth of this team is plain out scary. Philly has no chance of even making this game competitive. The quality of our bench will keep each starter on their toes.. every night.  Rasheed Wallace has been the most overlooked piece of our roster...

New York Ready to Embrace the Knicks

Nothing that happened at Madison Square Garden last night will compare to the emotion at Shea Stadium on September 21st, 2001. For all his on-the-court heroics, Carmelo (or is it Melo now?) Anthony wasn’t Mike Piazza. Eric Spoelstra wasn’t Bobby Cox; Mike Woodson wasn’t Bobby Valentine and Lebron James wasn’t Chipper Jones. Or, maybe he kind of was. In any event, it would...

Sheed!!

Here at Menudo Bol, we love Rasheed Wallace and now it seems so does MSG. Must feel great for Wallace to hear the chants calling for his check in on the court. And in classic Sheed fashion, he drills a 3. Welcome back Sheed.

THE HEAT IS ON. ONE OF THESE TWO TEAMS WILL BE THE NEXT WORLD CHAMPIONS. MELO OR LEBRON WILL ALSO BE MVP. BET IT ALL ON MELO & THE KNICKS

We've waited, said TWT ( a Steady-isum for Time will Tell ).... for this very moment for a very long time.  Tonight is the last night the Knicks will be known as good. Tonight will be the start of something no MSM would believe or even dare to believe. The Knicks will be known as the team to beat on their way to the Championship.Tonight will be the last time even Barkley question...
