Justin Champagnie played five games in the NBA last season for the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors.
He averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 33.3% from the field.
On Tuesday afternoon, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that Champagnie would be signing a ten-day deal with the Washington Wizards.
Via Charania : "The Washington Wizards are signing forward Justin Champagnie to a 10-day contract out of NBA G League, his agent Daniel Hazan of Hazan Sports Management tells @TheAthletic @Stadium. Champagnie has played parts of two NBA seasons and is averaging 22.3 PPG/8.9 RPG for Sioux Falls."

Champagnie has spent two seasons in the NBA and has career averages of 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 43.9% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 41 games.
The 22-year-old has been excellent in the G League and has averages of 23.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field in 19 regular season games this season.
