I don’t know what’s up with the refs sometimes these days, but it looks like they want to get as much attention that they can. That’s what happened with Courtney Kirkland, as he tried blocking Kris Humphries‘ free-throw attempt in the fourth quarter as the Brooklyn Nets took on the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night. Kirkland’s motive for such a move? It appears that the subs were trying to come in and Kirkland didn’t want Humphries shooting his free throws in the middle of that. But really Courtney? You didn’t need to go overboard with it; it’s like Joey Crawford all over again. Better defense than the Raptors, though.
