Life is Just a Fantasy ... Basketball...:
Reggie Williams is averaging 21 points in two games.
Former Golden State Warrior Reggie Williams is still a favorite around here. In two starts for the Charlotte Bobcats, No. 55 has put up 21 points. His two game totals are 10 rebounds, 11 assists, four threes and a steal. He's also hit 14-of-30 shots while going 10-of-12 from the charity stripe.
I've been a little gun-shy with Williams for several reasons. It's just two games. The Bobcats' roster is barely above D-League levels, especially with injuries to Gerald Henderson, DJ Augustin and Corey Maggette. Williams likely won't last much longer on the wire (Yahoo, 20 percent owned; ESPN, 9.2 percent). Grab him if you can (he's gone in all of my leagues).

Hello Bobcats fans! I know I haven’t written for a long time, no it is nothing to do with me feeling too Depressed during this emphatic losing streak. I have had University exams for the last month which have been long and hard, a bit like the bobcats season. I believe Reggie Williams deserves some [...]
Yes, James Johnson 7-of-11 shots on his way to 15 points, seven rebounds, two steals and three blocks. A magnificent line (albeit with two turnovers and four fouls). He also threw down the sick dunk above. But this type of line from Johnson is far too rare. There are too many 0-fors or 1-fors and foul plagued nights to get excited.
There's no questioning Johnson's...
The most fixable aspect of the Charlotte Bobcats’ 12-game losing streak is the injury situation. It sounded Wednesday like three key players are on the mend. Gerald Henderson, D.J. Augustin and Corey Maggette – the team’s top three scorers this...
Are these Bobcats the worst team in NBA history? Observer NBA reporter Rick Bonnell weighs in on that, on the team's injury situation, and on which college player might be the best fit for Charlotte when the draft rolls around:

The Bobcats continued their rather lengthy road trip as they have been out since 1/31. Things are different for the Celtics, who started off the season rough and sluggish. They currently ride a 4 game winning streak and have all of their players healthy. It's a different story for the Cats as they are still without Corey Maggette, DJ Augustin, and Gerald Henderson; who are...
This Charlotte franchise has been a thorn in the Celtics side recently. The Celtics have an 18-7 all-time record against them, but the Bobcats have taken the last two contests. This will be the first meeting between the two teams in this lockout shortened season. The Celtics have been on a roll [...]
In the video above, WEEI speaks with Charlotte Bobcats coach Paul Silas, who won two NBA championships with the Celtics in the 1970s. Silas talks about the differences between Paul Pierce and John Havlicek, saying "They're kind of different players... Havlicek was just very aggressive running all the time. He'd get up and down the floor, ran and banked shots off the...

Hello Bobcats fans. Shortly after the loss to the Boston Celtics last night, I got to thinking. We have had some bad seasons in our short history, but this one is pretty bad. Our first season (2004-05) ended with an 18-64 record. This year, we’re on pace for 9.84 wins. That’s right folks, we’re on [...]

As I suffered through the Bobcats’ ill-fated invasion of the crumbling Boston Celtics empire on Wednesday, I was reminded of why I love the Showtime drama Dexter so much. Dexter’s plot had an extremely shaky starting point (a story about an affable serial killer named Dexter) that has only grown increasingly ridiculous with each new [...]
Two streaks will be on the line this evening at Time Warner Cable Arena, as the Chicago Bulls go after their fifth straight win, while the Charlotte Bobcats attempt to avoid matching the longest losing streak in franchise history.
